How Does It Work?
Are you familiar with GigMasters or GigSalad? How about The Knot or Wedding Wire? If you're a professional musician, you have heard of these services, probably even used them at one point or another. And if you're like us, you are frustrated with the high cost of doing business this way.
Enter NE Talent Agency. We offer what they offer, but on a much more specialized basis. We get our leads the same way they do, but instead of forcing you to pay a high monthly fee for our service, you pay us a flat fee for every new lead, plus a commission (a percentage of the total amount paid), should you get the contract.
How Do We Get Our Leads?
We scour the internet looking for weddings, concerts, private parties, corporate events using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Craigslist and a variety of other platforms. We contact the person advertising the event and qualify the lead. We do this by determining the needs of the client, collecting their contact information, and sending them information about the musician or entertainer we feel best matches what they are looking for. If they like what they hear, they tell us.
How Do We Get Paid?
If the client is ready to speak with the entertainer, we contact the entertainer with all of the client information and they pay us for the lead. It is then up to the entertainer to contact the client and make arrangements for the event in question. Upon the final "sale", the entertainer pays us a commission of the total amount.
How Much Do We Charge For Each Lead?
We charge a flat fee for every lead. Please note that these are what we call "hot leads", meaning we have contacted them, talked with them about you or your band, sent them your recordings and/or video, and walked them through the process. These clients are now ready to talk to you about their special event!
How Much Does The Client Pay Us?
How much the client pays you is up to you. Generally speaking, we think a $50-$100 per person per hour charge is fair. That does not include pricing for a PA, Lighting, Travel or Taxes. When you discuss pricing with the client, be sure to include any hidden costs in the contract so they are not surprised.

What Does NE Talent Service Cost?
Entertainers that hire us to provide them with hot leads sign a contract stipulating that NE Talent Agency will provide them with hot leads and they will pay a flat fee per lead plus a commission on the sale of the event.
